Lessons 274: Today belongs to Love. Let me not fear.

What will it take for you to let illusions go, and to open your mind to the truth? What will it take for light to replace all darkness from every corner of your mind? What has to happen for you to remember who you are – the Son of God as you were created?

You must simply let all things be as God created them; let all things be exactly as they are. That includes you and your brothers. Honor yourself and your brother for who you both are. Remember to Love; forget fear. Instead of finding fault, love yourself, and love your brother as yourself, with the Love of God. Give every relationship, every thought, every word and every action, every moment of every day, to Him Who is your Father. That is what it will take to open your mind to truth.

With dedication, focus and will – it is easy to be the Son of God. It is actually easier than trying to be something you are not. You are not a critic, a cynic, a judge or punisher. If you do not see everything and everyone as perfect – so what? Accept what is and cease trying to change everything to your liking. You will be more peaceful if instead of judging, you are accepting. Peace is an acceptable goal. Do not try to change everything to bring you peace. Accept peace and everything will change.

Lesson 275: God’s healing Voice protects all things today.

Seek, hear, learn, understand. Four words that when heeded will lift you higher than you could ever dream. Seek only what is true. Hear the Holy Spirit tell you of things you cannot understand alone, nor can learn apart from Him. Learn what the course, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are continually teaching. Understand that it is in joining together to embrace the Word of God that all things are protected. It is in the hearing and the adhering to the Voice for God that healing is found. Separation is the nemesis of the Son of God. Joining and healing is the salvation of God’s Son.

God’s Voice protects all things, so leave all things to Him and be anxious over nothing. His Voice will tell you everything you need to know for the truth to prevail in any and all situations. Choose to trust Him, and He will show you that you chose correctly. Trust Him and know His protection. You can only gain thereby.

Lesson: 276: The Word of God is given me to speak.

What is the Word of God? “My Son is pure and holy as Myself.” Thus God’s Son was born. In these words, God became the Father to the Son He loves. Accept God as your Father and all is given you. Deny Him as your Father, deny you were created in His Love, and you will be unsure of who you are, of Who your Father is, and for what purpose you have come. And yet, you need but acknowledge Him Who gave His Word to you in your creation, to remember Him and to remember your Self. So speak His Word to all your brothers, demonstrate the truth to them. Do this because you are blessed and loved and saved by Him. Let your brothers know that they are, too.

Lesson 277: Let me not bind Your Son with laws I made.

God has only one Son and He is the Christ that shines in all of us. The Christ is the Light, the Love, the Spirit of God in each of us as One. The Christ, therefore, is not bound by the world’s laws and knows no law except the Law of Love. The Christ is the Son of God; the body is not. You who are seemingly separate, appear so only in the illusory form of a body. God did not create that which would appear here only for a while to eventually disappear into dust. What God creates is eternal. What God creates cannot suffer. What God creates is eternally filled with peace and joy. God did not create time, or that which could be slave to time. So the body cannot therefore be a creation of God. Thus all the laws that the body obeys are not related to the truth of God’s Son at all!

If you but remember you are Spirit, then Love is the only Law that is relevant. Freedom lies in this truth, and God’s truth cannot lie. God will not, cannot, deceive Himself. So why should you? You are not a body. You are His Son. His truth is for you. Let nothing hide the freedom of the Son of God.

Lesson 278: If I am bound, my Father is not free.

Truth is free, so what is bound cannot be part of truth.

The body is bound and limited, so it cannot be real; it cannot be part of the truth. All the frailties and fears that you perceive, bind you to what is not true. This cannot be your will, oh Son of God, can it? Is indecision what you really want? Is sickness what you desire? Is it enjoyable and is it comforting to be anxious and worried and unknowing in so many situations? If you are bound in any way, you do not know your Father or your Self, and all reality is lost to you. Has this been your experience?

You have surely encountered enough of what is not true, to now want its opposite. Is it now your will to seek, hear, learn and understand a new way, a better way to perceive the world? A new way to see your brothers and yourself? Are you now ready for the new life that God has promised you?

If so, then ask for nothing but the truth. Let go of the dream of fear that you have brought into your mind, and decide not to dream any more, but to choose the way to truth instead. No longer will you cringe in fear, uncertain of every step you take. For truth is safe, and only love is sure.

Lesson 279: Creation’s freedom promises my own.

The end of dreams is promised you because God’s Son is not abandoned by His Love. Only in dreams is there a time when you appear to be in prison, awaiting a “future freedom,” if it be at all. Only in dreams do you appear to be bound by the laws that govern the world.

Yet in reality your dreams are gone, and truth is established in their place. So should you wait in chains which have already been severed, for a future release, when God is offering you freedom NOW? Accept what God offers you NOW and give your faith to Him Who offers your freedom to you.

Your Father loves you. Not at some future date yet to be determined; He loves you NOW. He would not withhold the gifts He gave to you. He would not withhold your freedom. It is yours RIGHT NOW. So claim it NOW, and release your mind from the self-imposed bondage that you dreamed for yourself. Accept instead the truth that you are free, you never have been bound, and you never will be. God did not create bondage, so it is not real. He created you, and His Son is Real!.

Lesson 280: What limits can I lay upon God’s Son?

Can God think impure thoughts? Can He create a Son who is impure? And can you lay limits on the Son of God, whose Father willed that he be limitless, and like Himself in freedom and in love?

You can invent limits both for you and for your brothers. You can invent imprisonment for you both, too, but only in illusions, not in truth. You and your brothers are a Thought of God. No Thought of God has ever left the Mind of God. No Thought of God is limited at all in any way, but is forever as pure and holy as God Himself. If you are anything other than honoring to your brother, then, you are dishonoring your Father who created him and you.

Ask the Holy Spirit how to honor your Self. Only honor and appreciation are an appropriate response to God’s Son, regardless of circumstances. So today give honor to God’s Son, for this is the way to find your Self. The honor you give to God’s Son is God’s, and what is God’s belongs to you as well.
