Lesson 225: God is my Father, and His Son loves Him.

When love is given, it must also be received to appreciate and acknowledge the gift to completion. When love is given completely, it must be received completely for the gift to be fully welcomed and experienced. Complete love, received in full awareness, blazing in your mind, leaves fear far behind, and only peace of mind and stillness are here now and will continue to be here. In quiet stillness, God is known.

Jesus says: “Brother, we find that stillness now. The way is open. Now we follow it in peace together. You have reached your hand to me, and I will never leave you. We are one, and it is but this oneness that we seek, as we accomplish these few final steps which end a journey that was not begun.” (2:1-5)

Lesson 226: My home awaits me. I will hasten there.

If you so choose, you can leave this world entirely. It is not death which makes this possible, but it is a change of mind about the purpose of the world. If you believe that it has value, the world will continue to appear to you the same as it is now. But if you see no value in the world, nothing that you want to keep as yours or search for as a goal, then the world will depart, vain desires and shattered dreams will be no more, and Heaven, then, will easily be yours.

It may help you make your decision (for the world or for Heaven), if you first remember that the world and all that is in it is not real; it is illusion and is constantly changing and passing. Heaven, however, is truth and is constant and forever true. If you decide for Heaven, listen only to God’s One Voice and to none of the thousands of voices of the ego world which can only lead you astray. God’s Arms are open and you can hear His Voice directing you home, where peace is. Hasten there. You deserve the constant happiness and joy and the fullest eternal life of peace and safety there is. You deserve to have no needs, only joys; no trials and tribulations, only perfect love. Heaven is a perfect home for the Son of God.

Lesson 227: This is my holy instant of release.

. . . perception must be straightened out before you can know anything.

(T-3.III.1:2)

Once your perception is corrected and you awaken to the truth that your will is the SAME as God’s, you will be released from all other wills that but keep you imprisoned in a world of illusion with all its wails and woes. May you waken today, to the idea that you were mistaken when you thought you had a will apart from God’s, knowing now that all you think apart from God does not exist. May you decide today to lay down all alien thoughts and dreams before the feet of truth, to be removed forever from your mind and returned to the light, showing you your Self was not affected at all by illusions.

“Straighten my mind, my Father. It is sick.

But you have offered freedom, and I choose to claim Your gift today.”

THIS is your holy instant of release. Now your right mind is restored to you at last.

Lesson 228: God has condemned me not. No more do I.

Would a loving Father condemn His Creation? He knows the truth of your holiness, and He can see past the blockages you have erected to hide your holiness in this world, even if they appear to have hidden your holiness from yourself. Shall you deny His knowledge of Who you are and trust in your own? Or shall you take His Word for what you are since He is your Creator and the One who knows?

Love cannot be squeezed into a body, be limited, or be a part of fear, or get tired, or age, or lack for anything, or even die. Would this be wonderful if it were true? Well, IT IS TRUE! You were mistaken in yourself because you failed to realize the Source from Which you came. You have not left that Source to enter into a body and to die. Your “mistakes” are dreams. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to the truth through forgiveness. Look past appearances to the light of truth and be happy, because it is God’s Will for you. Remember, God’s Word is:

“My Son is pure and holy as Myself.”

You are not a body. You are free. You are still as God created you to be. You are His Son eternally.

Lesson 229: Love, Which created me, is what I am.

What the wise seek in this world is not temporary pleasures and vain imaginings. The wise seek but what is real in God, your Identity in Him. You can find it in these words:

“Love, Which created me, is what I am.”

(1:1)

Christ is your salvation from what you thought you were. Christ is the light in you and your true home in Him. In the midst of all your thoughts that were not of God, the truth has been held pure and holy within you by the Holy Spirit, and recognition is all it takes to be at home.

Father, my thanks to You for what I am; for keeping my Identity untouched and sinless,

in the midst of all the thoughts of sin my foolish mind made up.

And thanks to You for saving me from them.

Amen.

Lesson 230: Now will I seek and find the peace of God.

Therefore, now seek and find the light of Christ within you. Be still and quiet and welcome it as it shines in your most holy mind. Find the peace that has been held for you, untouched by all the illusions that have appeared to dominate your mind for so very long. Close your eyes and your mind to the world you have been experiencing with the ego, and experience a new world, a world God has promised you, a world that will fill your every need because you have no needs – all that you need being given you in your creation. You have just allowed these gifts to escape your recognition.

Recognize them now. All you ask is but to be what you already are, and can that be denied you? You can obscure the truth from yourself, but you cannot hide from your true Identity forever, because that is not God’s Will for you, and His Will will be done. Are you ready now, oh holy Son of God? Have you wasted enough time? Is sooner better than later, even in the world's time frame? Think on this now

Theme of Relevance 2: What is Salvation?

Salvation is a promise, made by God, that you would find your way to Him at last. It guarantees that time will have an end, and all the thoughts that have been born in time will end as well. Salvation is undoing in the sense that it does nothing, failing to support the world of dreams and malice. Thus it lets illusions go. By not supporting them, it merely lets them quietly go down to dust. And what they hid is now revealed; and altar to the holy Name of God.

Lesson 231: Father, I will but to remember you.

What is there, in this world or any other, that you would rather seek and find and KNOW that could possibly be sweeter than remembering the sweet, sweet Love of God – the love that knows all things, is all things, and will forever be the same throughout all Eternity? Is there anything that can compare?

No, nothing can compare to the Love of God. So what is the holdup? Since the Love of God is within you, and there is nothing outside you (despite appearances to the contrary), then the blockage must be imagined.
