Manual for Teachers 28. What is the Resurrection?

1. Very simply, the resurrection is the overcoming or surmounting of death. It is a reawakening or a rebirth, a change of mind about the meaning of the world. It is the acceptance of the Holy Spirit’s interpretation of the world’s purpose, the acceptance of the Atonement for oneself. It is the end of dreams of misery, and the glad awareness of the Holy Spirit’s final dream. It is the recognition of the gifts of God. It is the dream in which the body functions perfectly, having no function except communication. It is the lesson in which learning ends, for it is consummated and surpassed with this. It is the invitation to God to take His final step. It is the relinquishment of all other purposes, all other interests, all other wishes and all other concerns. It is the single desire of the Son for the Father.

2. The resurrection is the denial of death, being the assertion of life. Thus is all the thinking of the world reversed entirely. Life is now recognized as salvation, and pain and misery of any kind are perceived as hell. Love is no longer feared, but gladly welcomed. Idols have disappeared, and the remembrance of God shines unimpeded across the world. Christ’s face is seen in every living thing, and nothing is held in darkness apart from the light of forgiveness. There is no sorrow still upon the earth. The joy of Heaven has come upon it.

3. Here the curriculum ends. From here on no directions are needed. Vision is wholly corrected and all mistakes are undone. Attack is meaningless and peace has come. The goal of the curriculum has been achieved. Thoughts turn to Heaven and away from hell. All longings are satisfied, for what remains unanswered or incomplete? The last illusion spreads across the world, forgiving all things and replacing all attack. The whole reversal is accomplished. Nothing is left to contradict the Word of God. There is no opposition to the truth. And now the truth can come at last. How quickly will it come as it is asked to enter and envelop such a world!

4. All living hearts are tranquil with a stir of deep anticipation, for the time of everlasting things is now at hand. There is no death. The Son of God is free. And in his freedom is the end of fear. No hidden places now remain on earth to shelter sick illusions, dreams of fear and misperceptions of the universe. All things are seen in light, and in the light their purpose is transformed and understood. And we, God’s children, rise up from the dust and look upon our perfect sinlessness. The song of Heaven sounds around the world, as it is lifted up and brought to truth.

5. Now there are no distinctions. Differences have disappeared and Love looks on Itself. What further sight is needed? What remains that vision could accomplish? We have seen the face of Christ, His sinlessness, His Love behind all forms, beyond all purposes. Holy are we because His holiness has set us free indeed! And we accept His holiness as ours; as it is. As God created us so will we be forever and forever, and we wish for nothing but His Will to be our own. Illusions of another will are lost, for unity of purpose has been found.

6. These things await us all, but we are not prepared as yet to welcome them with joy. As long as any mind remains possessed of evil dreams and unforgiveness, resentment and angst, the thought of hell is real. God’s teachers have the goal of wakening the minds of those asleep, and seeing there the vision of Christ’s face to take the place of what they dream. The thought of murder is replaced with blessing. Judgment is laid by, and given Him Whose function judgment is. And in His final judgment is restored the truth about the holy Son of God. He is redeemed, for he has heard God’s Word and understood its meaning. He is free because he let God’s Voice proclaim the truth. And all he sought before to crucify are resurrected with him, by his side, as he prepares with them to meet his God.

MANUAL FOR TEACHERS

28. WHAT IS THE RESURRECTION?

RECAP

1. Very simply, the resurrection is the overcoming or surmounting of death, a reawakening or a rebirth. It is a change of mind about the meaning of the world. Even the world is here for your happiness, as all things are. It is the acceptance of the Holy Spirit’s interpretation of the world’s purpose. The world is a classroom for learning the truth. Many of the lessons are taught through contrast. Once remembering Heaven, you will never return to the world for ANYTHING. It is also:

the acceptance of the Atonement for oneself (letting errors be corrected and fear undone).

the end of dreams of misery and the glad awareness of the Holy Spirit’s final dream of freedom and release for all as one.

the recognition of the gifts of God (Joy, Peace, Trust, Love).

the dream in which the body functions perfectly, having no function except communication.

solely for the purpose of communication for the Holy Spirit).

the lesson in which learning ends, for it is consummated and surpassed.

the invitation to God to take His final step and be lifted into Heaven.

the relinquishment of all other purpose, all other interests, all other wishes, all other concerns.

the single desire of the Son for the Father.

2. The resurrection is the denial of death, being the assertion of life. Thus all the thinking of the world will be reversed entirely.

Life is now salvation, and pain and misery of any kind are perceived as hell.

Love is no longer feared, but is gladly welcomed.

Idols have disappeared, and the remembrance of God shines unimpeded across the world.

Christ’s face is seen in every living thing.

Nothing is held in darkness apart from the light of forgiveness.

There is no sorrow still upon the earth for the joy of Heaven has come upon it.

3. Here the curriculum ends. From here on, no directions are needed. Vision is wholly corrected and all mistakes are undone. Attack is meaningless and peace has come. The goal of the curriculum has been achieved.

All thoughts turn to Heaven and away from hell.

How quickly the truth will come as it is asked to enter and envelop such a world. And what is this truth? The truth is that you are as God created you. Think on that for a bit.

“I am not a body; I am free. I am still as God created me.”

4. There is no death. The Son of God is free. And in his freedom is the end of fear. All things are seen in light and their purpose is transformed and understood. Even the world is lifted up and brought to truth and you can hear the song of Heaven as you look upon perfect sinlessness.

5. In a world of perfection, there are no distinctions, no good or bad, no true or false. Differences have disappeared and Love looks only on Itself and sees only the face of Christ: His sinlessness and His Love behind all forms, beyond all purposes.

6. All are holy because His holiness sets free. God created you holy and so you will be holy forever and forever, and you will for nothing but His Will to be your own. And IT IS. All illusions of another will are lost, for unity of purpose has been found.

7. These things await everyone, but you are not prepared as yet to welcome them with joy. As long as there is even one evil dream left, as long as there is even one misthought or unforgiveness, the thought of hell will still appear as real. This is truly an “all or nothing” situation. Suggestion: Forgive and accept holiness NOW. Love your brothers NOW. Accept happiness NOW. Begin this NOW.

8. God’s teachers have the goal of wakening the minds of those who sleep, and seeing there the vision of Christ’s face to take the place of what they dream. To teach is to demonstrate. SHOW your brothers that all you see is Love. SHOW your brothers that you see only the holy in them. Replace thoughts of judgment, criticism, unacceptance, hatred and murder with BLESSING. In His final judgment the truth about the holy Son of God is restored. YOU ARE AS GOD CREATED YOU.

You are redeemed, for you have heard God’s Word and understood the meaning.

You are free because you let God’s Voice proclaim the truth.

Teach only this. Teach only Love, for that is what you and your brothers ARE. All you sought before to crucify are resurrected with you, by your side, as you prepare with them to meet your God. AMEN

________________________________________________________________________________

Note: Do you understand the idea given you here? You must place the Holy Spirit in charge of your every thought, your every word, your every deed. And only then will you even have a ghost of a chance of immediate success in your endeavor. This is no small undertaking, is it? (In fact, if you do not undertake to do this, you will one day be at the undertaker’s!) For “death” is the result of NOT following the Holy Spirit to Redemption.

Into this seemingly hopeless situation, God sends His teachers. This is you, this is I. Do you begin to see how important you are to God’s Plan of Atonement? Then accept the Atonement for yourself, the undoing of your errors RIGHT NOW, and then stand beside Jesus to help him. For you can readily see that he needs his miracle workers!

So will you join the Great Crusade, and all work together to string together miracles, and form an unbroken chain, a bridge that will take you to the other side, the side of light and love and joy? You deserve it, and so do They. Let us affirm together:

I WILL JOIN THE GREAT CRUSADE.

I WILL BE GOD’S MIRACLE WORKER.

I WILL FOLLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT.

I WILL RESURRECT AND BE FREE!

I AM JOINING THE GREAT CRUSADE.

I AM GOD’S MIRACLE WORKER.

I AM FOLLOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT

I AM RESURRECTED AND FREE!

AMEN
